Li is a fantastic housemate to have, I lived with her for a few months while I did my year of nearly living the London life I wanted, but alas, I wasn’t quite rich enough to truly live the dream *dramatic sigh*. The photo below was my favourite from the day and a true representation of what I think of as a fashion portrait. Glits, a little glamour and a whole lotta luck thrown in to capture the moment in just the right frame.
Li wanted a mix and match approach to her portrait shoot, showing a little elegance, a little element of cheek and her serene personality. I set her the task to choose some images from magazines and detail why she liked them, and then we’d be inspired by those details and reflect them in her shoot. The last two photos are the inspired by photos. Me personally, I love the glitzy fashion one, hair flips, laughter, a little dizziness thrown in and *snick* we’ve got it!
I really enjoyed this quick shoot in her home, so much fun and light-hearted chatter about what she likes in a portrait.
