Yesterday I was going little crazy during this lockdown isolation. I’m used to working from home but I miss just going out and driving somewhere for a nice walk on the beach or long circular country walk. Instead it was a short walk near home (fortunately still countryside) and with a sunny afternoon and barely any wind, I saw an opportunity ..

.. an opportunity to finally take a profesh selfie with my new-ish blue hair. I went blue three weeks ago and yesterday was the day! So setup a mini studio in my back garden, ready to take my self portrait. Most of them turned out to be me being a goober and even though I tried to be a cool dude, I feel like I’m more of a dork in these photos. lol

Still it was good to get my off camera flash going and challenge myself to balance ambient sunny afternoon with flash. Definitely a challenge with a lot of up adjust light, sit down, up adjust light again, sit down until i got my camera, light, seat, backdrop and myself all in the right orientation to each other. Thank goodness for remote control via my phone!

So, I finally got photos to remember this teal hair of mine and that I’m still a goofball at 40, nope not going to grow old gracefully ;)
