A few weeks back I enjoyed a fantastic shoot with my fellow photographers in a group fashion shoot at the Manchester Victoria Baths. I had a fantastic if chilly time there and I wanted to show you a little before & after, as well as a behind the scenes look of the levitation photo I took there.

This photo was a huge effort to capture, it took a team of FOUR people to help me make this and that’s not including me taking the photograph and the model. Two holding the light (Lee Tuckett & Neil Matthews) directly above Kayleigh Jo,  and Victoria ‘Bean’ Thomas kindly kept ahold of Jo while she held her foot on the small table to give a bit more stability and security. Then there is of course the wonderfully strong James Farley for holding the model from underneath.

Without all of you helping me this would not have been possible to see my idea come to life!! I always say that assistants make the photographer world go round and it is so true .. my normal way of working with just me and the model would never have seen this kind of shot being created. I am so grateful for your patience on the day with this mad girl with an idea!

THANK YOU guys for helping me one for my levitation series :)

Falling in love with the moments among strangers

There are times I have my camera with me and I can see moments happening where the light is just right and a beautiful moment is happening in front of me. I fall in love, in joy, in peace, in wonder with these moments among strangers. When a person is looking away and...
