York Pride 2016

[envira-gallery id="3770"]

York Pride was the biggest march I’ve seen yet in York. It was over a mile long and always ends by the York Race Course at the Knavesmire. Its the biggest picnic with everyone and a stage of live music. Fun, relaxed with lots of friends around.

I run a social group called Lesbian Socials which has locations in Leeds, York & Huddersfield. We gathered together and celebrated life and friendship amongst LGBTQ friends, family and allies. Especially after the horrors in Orlando with the attacks at the Pulse Club killing people just like us. So we show up, be present and say that we love our partners with the same passion and intensity as you do yours.

Happy PRIDE everyone.
