Walking & camping with friends in Escrick

A mini holiday camping with friends in Escrick. A total distance of .. oh 15 minutes from home, but it was still nice to get away. One of my favourite things to do with my partner and also my friends is to go for a walk and take my camera. In a world full of chaos and stuff happening, photography is my way back to sanity. By choosing what to focus on, to cherish, to find the beauty in .. it calms down the myriad of things in the world to what is happening right now in front of you.

Making sure to take time out is important, to reconnect with friends, have campfires and be in nature, be with my partner and not just passing ships doing life chores like laundry and the dinner, worrying about worries and forgetting or not having time to talk before falling into an exhausted sleep. I plan my times off, to remember to live and cherish big moments and also all the many many small ones that can pass us by.
