The joy found in rays of light

On one of my many walks with my dog, one day was a misty fog and I was excited, the previous night I’d seen some fog photos by another photography and I wanted to try and have a go. Well .. here it was, I was unusually awake at an ungodly hour before sunrise and decided, well I’m up, might as well go for a walk now.

The sunrise was beautiful, the lines of the telephone wire, trees and distance, I took some time to cherish that along with dew drops, spider webs and small flowers I spotted along the way in late October 2025

To have lovely walks through countryside, above the clouds!

But this photo in the woodland, this is another parcel of joy in a moment.

I felt like i was in a movie set, it was so surreal seeing the rays of light and sunbeams through the woodland like this. The depth, the quiet, the mystery that was felt .. delicious.
