Donna and Sams wedding at the Barbican Centre in London was in THE best wedding location I’ve seen so far! Jungle plants, an aviary, loads of space to gather in little nooks and walk ways and bridges and cafe’s and .. and .. and!
I found out about this wedding when my fellow Jasmine Star workshop buddy Leo Bojesen sent a ‘call’ out online for a second photographer and I answered so fast I’m sure his head spun lol!
I got to spend the morning with the wonderful groom (Sam), his family for a while and his best man. Once at the Barbican I got to scope out the place and get a great feel for some places to pose for group shots, individual shots and bride & groom shots. Giving Leo the lowdown of the conservatory and also location detail shots for use in the wedding photo package.
Whilst Leo was directing the grooms in their group shot I saw this lovely moment between Donna and her bridesmaids .. it’s just too lovely and the surroundings are so wild and beautiful. I highly recommend the Barbican as your London wedding venue.
Thank you Leo for the opportunity to work with and learn from you, oh and readers, go check out his blog on this same wedding! I’m getting that much closer to being ready to be THE primary photographer for weddings on my own .. whooo :D
