This was a seriously kick ass cool couple and bunch of friends! I second shot and assisted Lisa Devlin this year .. one ‘tick’ in my goals achieved. Alix & Zach are truly a perfect match in my eyes. She’s goth and rocks an alternate vegan lifestyle with her own vegan cake shop Black Cherry and he is in a rock band, perfect. So the theme that the guest somehow perfectly dressed to without any instructions were .. black and red! I told you this group of friends of the bride and groom were seriously cool that most of them came a similar colours!!

I’ve admired Lisa from afar for a while now and she’s one of my top favourite UK wedding photographers and I aspire to her talent so to go shoot such a seriously cool wedding of Alix & Zachs while also learning from Lisa .. was definitely a highlight this year.  Part of the hightlight of working with other photographers in this regard is that I get to see their perspective (in this case Lisa’s perspective) as well as mine and while I try to be inspired by them and match their style I bring a little bit of difference too with different angles and viewpoints. As well as getting to learn theirs, how they manage the time, how they direct little moments to get the shot and how the day shapes up. As always I learned a lot and absolutely loved this day.
