I’m very lucky in that I got to second shoot Sarah & Shirley’s civil ceremony in London this summer. I assisted Kim Hawkins after having my name recommended to her via a Jasmine Star workshop buddy.. I’m very grateful for my network connections.

Their wedding is my first gay wedding and I hope for many many more to come. I loved every minute of it, from the make up, the early morning chatter, getting ready and getting to the venue. I loved this beautiful conservatory for their wedding at The Horniman Museum for the surroundings and gorgeous light that is let in .. no chance of a dark and poorly lit church here, just glow in natures perfect light.

I loved witnessing and capturing the love between this couple and their friends. So many cute laughs from the guests to listen to, inspired by the fantastic speaches.

Mostly I just love that these two women fell in love and get to celebrate their day, their loves and family like all of us.
