Mat (Matilda) & Gav had a fantastic wedding last July in Kent. I was the assistant and second shooter for a fantastic vintage wedding photographer Eliza Claire.

This couple have had the most fun and kid friendly wedding I’ve ever seen so far. They got married and had their reception in a truly gorgeous barn all in one location at The Tithe Barn in Lenham. Which I think is a great idea because guests are not worried about getting to another location, the festivities start from the moment ‘I Do’ is proclaimed by Bride & Groom. Plus this location is stunning, as I’m sure you’ll agree!

Their wedding was beautiful, filled with flowers, little diy details of love and a really fun company called Tinies Creches to look after and play with the kids all afternoon.

I truly enjoyed shoot Mat & Gav’s day, I loved their sense of humour, the fact that they smiled and laughed the entire day. For a  couple I only met on their most special day in their lives to date, I was ready to to love them and their great friends and family.

Ps. Precocious kids are hillarious, I love the litte girl holding the boys head to say ‘here’s how you pose’ and then does a kooky pose herself!
