First comes love – Waple Wedding Memories

on the topic of Life

Here are the video presentations of the photo’s taken during my interactions and friendships with the Brummell and Waple families. My best friend’s sister was getting married and they asked me if I would please be part of an awesome duo to do their photography. The other photographer was another friend: Andrew Stevens, and we worked very smoothly together with a plan!

He worked on the loud and proud photography while I caught all the sneaky spy shots of the unguarded moments along with alternative angles of family portraits and activities in the wings. It suited both of us as photographers very well. So without further ado here are the photos that I capture from Dawn and Matt Waples wedding on the 30th May 2008. Congratulations to both of you.

First came love:

Then comes fun:

Then getting ready:

To walk down the aisle and be blessed:

Congratulations we scream, now you’re married!

Then came the family in ones, twos and fours:

They all have a good laugh:

And take to the floor:

Then off they went into the sunset!

Thank you for choosing me as your photographer for all these days and events.

The power of a look, a dog portrait

The power of a look, a dog portrait

It's funny how a dog staring at you trying to tell you something, and sunlight at just the right point can be so so powerful. Here's a Mabel stare .. mum, mum, look into my eyes .. I'm trying to tell you something! Followed by a slightly softer look, more of a dog...

A mini blep in the woods

I've been taking my camera out with me more and more lately, especially while walking with my dog. I'm really enjoying having something to capture mini slices of life, to help me focus on a single moment and not the chaos of life. I loved this little green leaf among...

Long exposures & Markets

Long exposures & Markets

I am pushing my own comfort boundaries and that night, I went to the christmas market with the leeds deaf photography group to practise my BSL, be social with new folks and pick up my camera again for me, to capture the world as I see it. This is what I saw.

Thank you sooooooooo much for capturing the special moments of a very special day.

It must have taken you ages to do that, and as Claire says, it really shows your skill & talents.

We are amazed at the wonderful photographs both you and Andrew took, and the final presentation is just amazing !!

We feel just so lucky that you’ve come into our family and shared your talents for Dawn & Matt’s Wedding.
