This wedding in Cambridgeshire second shooting alongside Jessica Roberts was a truly fantastic day. I shared a sneak peek of this wedding a few weeks ago and I’m so excited to be able to share this full wedding with you now. Zac and Alyssia met in Cambridge while going to university .. who could not help themselves if they fell in love in picture perfect postcard town & campus of Cambridge University?! Who I ask? Well not me, certainly .. but then I didn’t go to Cambridge *ahem*.
Fortunately, they did! They found each other there and got married right in the Gonville & Caius College chapel which is small but beautifully small in the best way. Alyssia’s dress was gorgeous and suits her to a T, it’s from the Maggie Sottero collection (I snuck that detail from Jess’s blog!).
Jessica is a new sister-in-law of Alyssias and so she was part of the guests as well as their photographer, so she asked for my help so that I could give an extra perspective of the day and to also include her in the photos as she’s part of the family. It must be so hard to serve double duty .. well, I’ve shot at two of my cousins weddings but it’s not quite the same as being sister or brother-in-law I guess. I LOVED shooting my families weddings and Jess did too on the day, check out her blog. So glad I could help out.
There is so much of this wedding that I love. Zac is shy but loves a cheeky glance up now and then at Alyssia. I love Alyssia’s smile, the way they are so tactile and hold hands a lot. It’s beautiful that Alyssia suprised Zac with her own little brides speach, to compliment her grooms speach. They both glow in each others company and that my friends and readers, is a wonderful thing to see.

Absolutely stunning Cathie, thank you so much for your help and gorgeous photos xxx
