A Walk in the Rain

Sometimes its good to be able to breathe and walk to an appointment and errands when I can, especially if its just a couple of miles away. I’m also still deeply into my love affair with the Helios 44/2 lens in my XT1, its manual focus but that just makes me slow down, deeply consider what I’m doing and focus. Concentration is needed to ensure a good focus and composition. Some people play golf, I go for walks and take my camera to photograph the tiny little details in life.

Rainy day photography makes for some really beautiful colours, soft and muted from the light through dark clouds. The breeze was a little chilly around my neck after I forgot to put my scarf back on but it wasn’t for too long of a walk.

Miss Fliss is always a source of cuteness, crazy and also quiet little moments which are my little highlights of joy .. where you do you find your quiet heart filling moments?
